Casinos in Cyprus
Cyprus has four licensed casinos, all operated by Melco under a single exclusive casino licence. The flagship is City of Dreams Mediterranean in Limassol — Europe's first integrated resort, with a 7,500 m² gaming floor, more than 100 tables and around 1,000 slot machines. The other three are the smaller C2 satellite casinos in Nicosia, Paphos and Ayia Napa, which are slots and electronic-gaming venues.
Entry to every casino in Cyprus is limited to guests aged 21 and over, and photo ID is checked at the door. Below you will find each venue with its address, opening hours, rating and directions.

How many casinos are there in Cyprus?
Four licensed casinos, all run by Melco: City of Dreams Mediterranean in Limassol and the C2 satellite casinos in Nicosia, Paphos and Ayia Napa. Cyprus issues a single casino licence, granted in 2017 for 30 years with the first 15 years exclusive, so no other operator may run a casino on the island. Venues advertising themselves as casinos outside this group are private clubs or amusement arcades.
Where can you play blackjack in Cyprus?
Live blackjack is only available at City of Dreams Mediterranean in Limassol, which is the only venue in Cyprus with live table games. Its floor has more than 100 tables covering blackjack, roulette, baccarat and poker, with a range of table limits from low-stakes up to high-roller salons. The three C2 casinos in Nicosia, Paphos and Ayia Napa do not have live dealers — they offer electronic versions of blackjack and roulette on gaming terminals alongside their slot machines.
What casino games can you play in Cyprus?
At City of Dreams Mediterranean: blackjack, roulette, baccarat, poker and other live table games, plus around 1,000 slot machines and electronic terminals. At the C2 casinos: roughly 50 slot machines each, along with electronic table games. Poker tournaments and cash games run at City of Dreams rather than at the satellite venues.
What are the entry rules and opening hours?
The minimum age is 21 at every venue and photo ID or a passport is required on entry. Dress code is business casual. City of Dreams Mediterranean runs its gaming floor around the clock; the C2 venues typically open late morning and close in the early hours, with longer weekend hours. Only sports betting is licensable, through operators holding a Class B licence from the National Betting Authority, which also maintains a blacklist of unauthorised sites that internet providers are required to block.
